On Saturday the track meeting took place at the Oval near St. Georges Park. We ran through the Junior events first before the Seniors took to the tack at 11 am. By that time the wind was picking up the sun was getting pretty strong. I did the 1000m time trial and around an hour later the 3000m pursuit. There were no other competitors in my category, but was competitive in comparison to the category above my classification.
On Sunday the start of the Road Time Trial was at a school about 30km outside of town. The Juniors started at 8am and we followed after them. The course was nice and flat with a nasty breeze again. I however managed to put 50 seconds into the winner of the category stronger than mine.

On Monday we did a 48km road race where I raced with Ernst van Dyk (hand cycle), Jaco Nel (CP3) we broke clear of our bunch and caught three of the group that started 5 minutes ahead of us and who had to do 60 kilometres road race.
Overall I came away with 4 gold medals, sunburn and a windy experience.
Yours in cycling,
Oswald Kydd
